Description & Requirements

We are looking for a commercially driven Shipping Operator to manage and optimize a growing fleet of 6–10 time-chartered intermediate DPP and LPG vessels, combining operational execution with active commercial involvement. The role sits at the intersection of operations, chartering and trading, with direct impact on fleet utilization, freight exposure and P&L.

Your Role & Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of a TC fleet across internal and external charters
• Optimize vessel employment, including triangulation, backhaul opportunities and minimizing idle time
• Run voyage calculations, TCE analysis and freight economics to support commercial decisions
• Support traders in sourcing and fixing spot and time-charter tonnage by negotiating charter party terms alongside trading and Head of Shipping
• Arrange and optimize bunkering, including planning, pricing and supplier coordination
• Handle demurrage, operational claims and contractual risk exposure
• Liaise with owners, charterers, terminals and agents to ensure smooth execution
• Identify and capture commercial opportunities to improve margins and reduce costs

Your Qualifications

• Experience in tanker and/or LPG shipping operations, chartering or shipbroking
• Strong understanding of charter parties, voyage economics, bunkering and claims handling
• Commercial mindset with sound negotiation skills
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, decision-driven environment
• Ownership mentality and strong execution focus
