Your Tasks
You will ensure that all packaging data can be accurately maintained in SAP PLM by our global packaging community. As the core system for packaging specifications, material master data and bills of materials (BOM), SAP PLM is essential for enabling production and supplier processes. Working in close collaboration with master data management team (MDM), you will ensure the system remains fully operational for all business teams, provide 2nd-level support, and drive the ongoing enhancement of processes and system capabilities to continuously improve packaging data quality.
Key Tasks:
- Ownership and governance of packaging master data in SAP PLM
- Ensure compliance of SAP PLM as the central documentation platform for packaging specifications and material data
- Enhance SAP packaging data quality and governance processes to enable accurate internal & external reporting, e.g. sustainability KPIs, CSRD, PPWR compliance, and EPR/plastic tax savings
- Lead strategic SAP digitalization projects for new packaging related transactions
- Consolidate and harmonize requirements from packaging business teams to shape and optimize data maintenance processes
- Collaborate closely with internal business and IT teams to implement and release change requests and system enhancements
- Create, prioritize, and maintain the SAP PLM product backlog for packaging
- Establish and lead a robust key-user network, and drive long-term knowledge upskilling by providing 2nd-level support and developing training materials
- Serve as System Administrator and manage user access for SAP PLM packaging transactions
- Support MDM release processes for custom developments
Your Profile
- Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a comparable field; alternatively, an equivalent qualification gained through several years of relevant professional experience
- Strong SAP S/4HANA expertise, particularly in SAP PLM master data and its integration into the value chain
- Strong communication skills for alignment with IT teams, the packaging business team, and other stakeholders
- Ability to analyse complex business processes paired with strong problem solving skills Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, JIRA, or similar project management software
