Job Description

You will work on behalf of the Lifecycle Services department. This team offers technical support, training, and manufacturing consultancy through other delivery mechanisms. The goal is to help provide complete solutions to customer's needs.

We will base you on a customer site in Kiel. You will help the customer reduce the cost of maintenance on site. Your goal will be to increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

Rockwell Automation has an excellent reputation for developing a strategic maintenance approach which can also directly improve the efficiency of the maintenance department.

Your Responsibilities:

  • On site professional management of maintenance and operations (MRO).
  • Work with systems that allow the company to track its repairable inventory and apply associated warranty programs.
  • Develop clear working Standard Operating Procedures detailing process flow and operational requirements for daily activities to support the maintenance operations.
  • Provide contact for maintenance repairs and asset tracking.
  • Manage on site project work, coordinating with Engineering teams and external/internal suppliers.
  • Reduce MRO stock duplication and obsolescence.
  • Provide migration, rationalization, and standardization strategies to reduce MRO inventory asset value.
  • Support productivity improvements through delivery of parts and solutions to the maintenance/engineering teams, whilst providing an overall lower total cost of ownership.
  • Provide monthly financial reports.
  • Source and arrange consignment of new purchases.
  • Work with client departments including plant management, engineering, purchasing and distributors to create efficiency plans for maintenance.
  • Increase "Out of the box" reliability of spare repairable assets, through the use of internal and external vendor capability.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • BSc or BEng Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical education with additional qualifications
  • 5-10 years of experience in maintenance / reliability / project management.
  • Full working proficiency in both German and English.
  • Experience working with production, engineering and maintenance.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Previous experience in Asset Management
  • Customer account management.
